Trusting Your Intuition
Life has a funny way of bringing people into and out of your life. People will come and go all the time. Sometimes they enter your life to learn more about you and then leave when they are dissatisfied. Other times, they enter your life for no apparent reason, only to discover that you have trouble letting go of them.
The most important factor to take into consideration when it comes to human relations is your intuition. This innate feeling will teach and protect you from unnecessary encounters and relationships. A lot of people make the mistake of not listening to their intuition, but it’s always there screaming right back at you.
Whenever your intuition instructs you that it’s time to let someone go, then listen to it and move on. Never be rude towards the person either. The key is avoiding arguments or fights and leaving on a happy or at least neutral note. You don’t always have to understand the reason for letting someone go.
Many times, you will never understand the reasoning behind your intuition. Conscious reasoning is not part of your intuition’s repertoire. Intuition relies on instinctive feelings and that’s what makes it so difficult for people to appreciate and listen to. It’s easier to allow your mind to get in your way with logical reasoning.
You may feel bad at first when letting someone go from your life, but you wouldn’t be doing it in the first place if you weren’t feeling that it’s the right thing to do. It’s normal to feel bad. It means that you have a caring and loving heart that looks out after others. But sometimes the better option in life is letting go of others for their own sake.
The process of moving on is never easy and there is no right way of doing it. Each individual case is different and special in its own way. Remember that if the other person does not react well to your goodbye, the last thing that you want to do is engage in their frustration and disappointment.
Maintaining composure is always the best avenue to take. You’re not here to get into arguments or stress yourself out. Your mental health always comes first, and if you feel that your mental health has been taking a hit while around a particular person, then that’s when you know that it’s time to let them go.
Trust your intuition. Nourish your mental health. Let people go.
