Never Stop Believing

The Power Lies Within You

It’s easy to allow society to discourage you from your wildest dreams; after all, why would anyone want to see you succeed? Use that as motivation when society laughs at your dreams. You can climb as high as you’d like because this is your life and you are the player; God has given you free will to live as you wish. Don’t allow lavish goals to become impossibilities; anything is achievable if you can envision it within your eye’s mind. Forget all the details of “how, when or even why.” Just keep dreaming and believe that life will place all the right pieces into their place. The next thing you’ll know after you open your eyes is your newfound reality based on a once upon a time dream . . .

The Dark Side Of The Moon

A simple message to dream with shimmery purple and pink glitter bokeh

8/27/20 Dream Analysis

  • Unknown location (dream I): I was in a house with two big sliding doors overlooking a parking lot. I noticed a man in the parking lot looking at me in surprise and two men beating an innocent man in the street who was confronting them. It felt like I was in Florida or something. The man in the parking lot jumped over the gate and fled while the other two were most likely hiding the body. I pulled the shades down and hid under my bed thinking that they would come to kill me too. Later that night, I was eating in the bedroom with two other guys when we noticed a familiar man pulling up in a van in the parking lot; we thought it was them who were back to kill us because we were witnesses to their murder and suspicious activity. Someone threw me a gun and I went in the backroom to warn my dad that they were here and to get himself ready and the dog and head for the car out back. I ran downstairs to the basement to get a shotgun for my dad (I also noticed a Chinese guy named James from medical school coming up) and then as I got back upstairs, someone was walking in the hallway saying “hello?” I did not see the person.
  • Unknown location (dream II): I was driving my Mercedes quite fast on very wet highways that were surrounded by many streams and marshes and there were no railings between the highways and streams. I then lost control of my car and I ended up flying with the car and landing perfectly on an island in a young man’s rich property. I noticed my car was actually a lambo. I knocked on the door of the mansion and a young man with his girlfriend answered. I told them what had happened and if they could help me get off this island. The young man agreed to take my car while his GF agreed to drive me in hers. Then something happened to the young man because supposedly there was something evil at play. I was then stuck with his GF and it was either me or the young man who had turned into a vampire and was getting ready to wake up.
  • Unknown location (dream III): I heard a scary voice that almost sounded demonic saying, “go awayyyy” and then I woke up to the noise of a loud truck outside that actually made a car’s alarm system go off.

Freud is known for saying, “dreams are the royal road to the unconscious.” Does anyone have any takes on the dreams mentioned above? Feel free to share you dreams as well.

Believing With All Your Might

Believing Is A Lifestyle

I’m sure many of you have heard it a thousand times, “Believe it and you will achieve it.” Well . . . it’s not quite that easy. Sitting around on a random day and just believing that you’ll become a millionaire is not going to do much. Believing is a lifestyle. You have to practice it every day, multiple times a day until you’re sick of believing! Believing with all your might is required for things to come true.

In the bible, we’re taught by Jesus Christ, the Son of God, to believe with all our heart and mind and that whatever we ask in prayer will come true. Many people will say, “Dr. Sinu! I’ve tried believing my entire life and nothing has ever manifested!” And then you gave up I take it? You see, believing requires a change in your personality.

This change involves persistence, stamina and the refusal to accept anything less. If you lack these traits, you are at a disadvantage because you are prone to giving up on your beliefs and settling for mediocracy. You have to understand something and this is not meant to scare you: you almost have to become delusional in your beliefs in order to see them manifest into your life.

But delusional in a good way; not the pathological kind that is known as delusional disorder. Being delusional in your beliefs is another way of saying, “Believe what it is that you want to believe to the point that others would tell you that it’s impossible.” And believing is not a one time sit-down session where you meditate and believe for 10 minutes and expect results in return.

Believing is a lifestyle. You must breath, sleep and eat beliefs all day, every single day, rain or shine. You must visualize with feelings in your mind, seeing yourself in your mind’s eye what you want to be doing and feeling it as if it were your current reality. It’s difficult to do that every day but it will pay off in the future with enough persistence.

I never knew that I would become a doctor until I turned 20 and not even then did I know that I would one day be in residency practicing psychiatry! I thought that I was going to end up in Hollywood as an actor or screenwriter, even though I still would like to accomplish these goals one day! But I got my mind right and set myself up to stay on one path only until it became a reality!

I never knew that I would one day start a blog called “Defeating Stigma Mindfully” and interact with people all over the world! But one day as I was sitting in my bedroom, I stumbled across WordPress and the rest was history. My point is that you can accomplish whatever you want!

You just got to have the dreams, vision, ambition and work ethic and actually set out to accomplish your goals!

Your Dreams Rock

You Are A Rock Star

With more time on our hands because of the virus that has decided to take a world tour, we have no excuse but to dream bigger and work towards making our dreams a reality. Utilize this free time as an opportunity to grow and plan out your future; no time should be wasted. Life always throws you opportunities for improvement, even if it’s during deadly times.

In other words, do not sit idly at home waiting for evilness to pass away; it never will. The coronavirus is just a small piece of the arsenal when it comes to Satan and his army; unfortunately he took out one of his more powerful weapons this time. But casually sitting around complaining about how your world has changed for the worse is not doing you any good.

Did you know that you are a rock star? We all are. But we have to start thinking like a rock star, believing like a rock star, dreaming like a rock star and eventually living like a rock star. No worldly event, no matter how negative and evil it may be, should be holding you back from progressing in life.

And it all starts with your dreams! Are you waking up every day believing that this will be the day that you will accomplish X, Y, and Z? If you are not, then you aren’t thinking like a rock star. You must feed your drive and motivation the minute that you wake up, no matter how pissed off you are and no matter how unfortunate your current circumstances are.

You can’t allow your environment to make you its slave; you will not allow that to happen! You have to learn to put yourself in a position of power where you are the one controlling your environment and this does not mean controlling others; you never want to control others. You want to be a leader, not a boss. Bosses tell people what to do; leaders show people how to do it!

So start dreaming and living like a rock star and watch your success and happiness skyrocket. And when you start demonstrating leadership qualities, people will start to respect and follow you to learn more from your awesome ways! This is the rock star mentality that you need to start adopting today.

Together we can and we will!

Don’t Stop Believing

Euphoric Dreams

Life is extremely talented at making you lose confidence in yourself: it’ll chew you up and spit you out a million times until it breaks you down to pieces. Those who care less are the ones who stand up and prevail in the end. Those who become emotionally weak and give up on their dreams are the ones who are left behind.

Don’t expect life to take it easy on you; it never will. One of your greatest assets is the power of belief. You have to hold onto this feeling of believing that you can accomplish whatever you’re set out to. Life will present you with many obstacles that will attempt to rob you of this feeling of believing; you just have to keep pushing forward.

The process of accomplishing your dreams and goals is not an easy one. It takes perseverance, hard work and many failures. Without failures, you cannot experience great victories. You will always taste the small victories, but in order to breath and feel the great ones, you must first experience the failures.

But dreams do come true! You just have to consistently apply the right mindset and get out there every day and put your best foot forward. The process of shooting for your dreams should always be an exciting one. Somewhere in the back of your mind, you should feel excited when you experience pain, misery and torture. This is how you know that you are battling your way to victory.

Without pain, misery and torture, you are moving at a snail’s pace. The more pain and adversity that you are experiencing, the faster the process is unfolding before your eyes. Once you get through the many obstacles lying in front of you, the bittersweet taste of having your dreams become a reality feels euphoric-like.

Drugs provide you with an artificial euphoria. Dreams provide you with a real euphoria. Let’s make our dreams come true on The DSM Ready Platform.

Cake By The Ocean

Living Your Dreams

To achieve the big dreams which you have been entertaining for years, you must be certain that you are in the right state of mind. You cannot be 100% focused on your current situation without a little dreaming in-between. Dreams are present-day unrealistic thoughts and fantasies which have the potential to become a reality in the future!

Your dreams should be alive and active every single day, regardless of whether you hold a killer job or no job. Dreams are there to smooth out the bumpy roads and provide you with hope that you will one day be in a better position in life. But not all dreams are related to wealth and prosperity.

Some dreams are about good physical health, new positive relationships or improved mental health. These dreams have nothing to do with money, fame and materialism; but these things aren’t bad either. It all depends on what you want. God gave you free will to decide what you want in life!

If one of your dreams involves a big fat piece of cake by the ocean, overlooking the turquoise water and purple sunset, then visualize and believe that every day of your life, until it becomes a reality! Never let someone else put you down because of your “grandiose” dreams; they’re not grandiose if you can visualize them with your mind’s eye!

People will always have a tendency to discredit your dreams because it’s human nature to not want others to get ahead. But don’t be like them. If someone accomplishes their dreams, sincerely congratulate them for their achievements! Having a good heart free of jealousy and envy will propel you towards your dreams at a much faster rate.

And lastly, live your dreams like there’s no tomorrow. Daniel Craig’s upcoming movie title “No Time to Die” says it best: there’s no time to cut your life short because every day is an opportunity to work towards your dreams. And you must believe that they are achievable; believe with all your will and you will succeed!

Dreams Keep Us Alive

A Fantasy Called Dreams

Whether the past, present (or for some of you, the future), most people would agree that without our dreams, we’d be lost somewhere in the abyss. Dreams provide direction, meaning and the ability to believe. Without belief, we remain lost. But with it, we dream on. And dreaming is what we want.

Our body requires blood to circulate oxygen, nutrients and waste products. Our mind requires a creative, inspiring and seductive fantasy called dreams. These “things” keep us going when at our lowest and most unattractive states of mind. Did I mention that they keep us going even when elated?

Those who dream consistently and believe them wholeheartedly for years at a time, have a very good chance at achieving them with persistence. Don’t forget consistence – the repetition of persistence. When this formula is applied, (is it a formula?), it makes dreams come true.

The best part of dreams is seeing them play out throughout your life. Sometimes they are accomplished earlier than expected, and you must come up with new ones. And sometimes you can accept a little assistance from a significant other, to help you out with a new dream.

The key is to not look too hard and don’t wait too long. Trust your eye, heart and instinct. If you believe a certain goal accompanied by a beautiful image is worth your time, then by no means, strive for it! But once you start striving for a dream, giving up on it would only be subpar. You can accomplish it with persistence.

Define Your Inspiration

May Your Dreams Come True

Inspiration is the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative. You have to discover what stimulates you to become passionate about something; motivation is key to sparking your creativity.

You can be inspired to write a book, draw, paint, sing, act or achieve a career of your choice! To become inspired is to live; you direct energy towards an objective with the goal of accomplishing it.

Allow life to help you define your inspiration. Sometimes it takes some quiet time to allow your mind to drift off; the best ideas present themselves when you are in a state of solitude. This is because you allow your mind to relax without worry. Daily stressors can also provide you with inspiration by motivating you to get out of your current situation.

The problem with daily stressors is that you often become more focused on them rather than new inspiring ideas; it is easy to get lost in negativity when experiencing pain. Meditation or mindfulness are nice tools to incorporate into your life that allow you not only to relax, but become inspired with ideas that can better your life in the future!

Do Not Let Others Kill Your Dreams

You Are The Master Of Your Dreams

Your dreams are one of the greatest assets that have been handed down to you; they provide inspiration, motivation, direction and happiness. You should strive to think about your dreams everyday, no matter how hard life can get at times.

One thing to remember is that some people will laugh at your dreams. They will say things like “you will never make it”, “that is impossible”, “you have no shot”, etc. But do not fall for the trap of letting others’ opinions influence you. This is your life and you have the power to shoot for the stars.

When your dreams start becoming a reality, people will either become jealous of you or come running back with a “I knew you’d make it” mentality. Do not fall for these traps either. If they were not able to stand by you at your worst time, they do not deserve to stand by you at your best time.

How do you go by turning dreams into a reality? You believe wholeheartedly, day in and day out, that you will achieve your goals. The power of belief works in a mysterious and magical way; it will make your dreams come true in the future with enough persistence and determination on your part. But do not lose patience; this is another trap that people fall into. Patience is key to achieving your goals and becoming successful in life; it provides you with strength, stamina and character.
