A Ten Year Battle

Lonely, sad man sitting in front of white projector screen

The Battle Known as Loneliness

The pain harbors in the center of your chest

The empty corners of your room remain isolated

People come and go

Yet you remain in the same place

Isolated with pain and arrested in shame

But is it your fault you constantly ask yourself

Or is it destiny observing the cards that were dealt to you?

Whatever the reason may be

Your loneliness continues to eat you alive

The weekends are worse, the weekdays you manage by

How does one exit this trap called loneliness?

Do you just accept like a prisoner and hope for the best

Counting down the days until you can hold someone abreast . . .

War On Your Mind

Half of inside of brain

Spiritual War for Your Mind

The mind is your battleground

Fought on a spiritual level

God gave you life

But the Devil tries to take it

You end up confused

Sometimes dazed too

But evilness does not care

It’s better for you to be in despair

God warns us every day

But our soul gets lost

Our mind fights even during the night

Are dreams reality or just imagination?

How long can this fight go on?

As long as you live it will continue on . . .

Camping In Your Brain

Alcohol Loves The Human Brain

Whether it be through your genes, environmental experiences or simple curiosity, once alcohol enters your bloodstream, it salivates its way to your brain, smoothly crossing your blood-brain barrier and camping for as long as it can; tonight it has found a home and your brain is it! If you are already vulnerable, such as experiencing emotional pain, suffering from a mental illness or the victim of peer pressure, you will quickly learn that alcohol is like a potion, quickly numbing away your painful experience. Once booze and your brain shake hands, call it a deal made in hell.

Does this mean that you are now prone to developing an addiction? Not necessarily. Is it possible? Absolutely. Many people with anxiety disorders or depression love alcohol. The substance helps lubricate their shyness, fears, anxieties and low mood, but only in the moment! Once your brain soaks up all the ethanol like a sponge, it crashes: you feel hungover or even worse you start to experience withdrawal effects such as tremors, anxiety, restlessness, sweating, insomnia, excessive thoughts of acquiring more alcohol and even seizures, shaking, confusion and hallucinations, something known as delirium tremens.

Why does alcohol love your brain so much? Or simply reversed, why do you like alcohol so much? I’ll let you answer those questions.

Chapter 2: Outside Forces

How do you know that you have control over yourself? How do you know that you’re being yourself? How do you know that your thoughts aren’t being manipulated or influenced by your environment? How do you know? Everything you do is influenced by your surroundings, even when you think that you are in control. Now this doesn’t mean that you aren’t enjoying your experience; you may very well be celebrating quite often that is! But please understand that you are being influenced every second of your celebrated experience.

Who are these outside forces? Everyone who is part of your reality: movements outside your window, strangers passing you down the street, marijuana smokers staring outside their windows, parking garage employees, liquor store workers, friends, family, social media, the news and the list goes on. Do you get my point yet? Even if you have a strong grip on your reality, your mind is being influenced. Keep in mind that influence does not necessarily equate to manipulation.

What is influence and what is manipulation? Being influenced to think, feel or behave in a certain way can be a good thing; it’s not always bad. Being manipulated can be good or bad but it’s always at the advantage of the person or entity who is doing it. Also keep in mind that you can be influenced and manipulated by the internet, television, podcasts, apps, billboards and books; it doesn’t always have to be by people.

The bottom line: step outside the box once in a while.

Chapter 1: Creating

You’re given a brain that is blessed with a mind. This mind gives you the ability to experience reality, mental health, perception, emotions, thought content, relationships, etc. This mind gives you the ability to create, though you never thought about doing that before, have you?

Many of us rely on our environment to create our reality; sometimes our mental health too! We rely on others to provide us with happiness, joy and contentment, when we should be providing this for ourselves.

What is the solution? Writing the rules. Waking up tomorrow and deciding that you will start taking things in your own hands. Waking up tomorrow and crying your tears out, realizing how much power you truly hold.

You disconnecting from your environment which is most likely half asleep and living in a trance like sheep in a pen. Aren’t you ready to evolve beyond this? Aren’t you ready to create and design your reality so that you can avoid mental health suffering?

I am ready. Care to join?

Why We Talk About Mental Health

Selective focus photography of hand holding crystal ball

Planet Zer0

Imagine a world where mental health does not exist; let’s call it Planet 0. There is no recognition of mental illness such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, eating disorders, ADHD, tic disorders, drug addiction, etc. If you suffer from such a disorder of the mind, you are simply considered “weird,” “abnormal,” “strange” or “other-worldly.” In this world, if you have a mental illness, you are ostracized from society; find your way back home because you are not getting into this circle!

People who commit suicide are viewed as weak; “he would have never made it anyways” is the mentality. Drug addicts are considered the scum of the earth on Planet 0; suffering or even worse, dying, is celebrated by the masses. Psychotic people are one of the most feared and despised; governments all around the world are seriously considering passing a law to allow citizens to shoot at a psychotic person if they feel threatened.

Essentially, humanity on Planet 0 does not want to have anything to do with mental health; it never was and it never will be. If you are feeling down, your family warns you to get yourself together. If you are feeling anxious, your friends start to lose interest. If you are feeling insecure, your significant other is expected to leave you. If you are hallucinating, society no longer knows of you. Psychiatric medications are for lab rats; if you’re even heard of having some in your kitchen, your landlord has a right by law to evict you if he or she pleases.

Why do we talk about mental health?

So we can avoid experiencing any sort of stigma that slightly touches or resembles Planet 0.

The Box Will Always Be Full

So Think Outside The Box Already

How long will you keep ignoring your inner urge to seek the truth? Even when you’re presented with tad bits of revelations, you rewind back to your comfort zone of trusting your present reality, as if somehow it were the accurate narrative; this is your psychological defense mechanism hardwired into your mind. Sometimes defense mechanisms have to be snapped in order to evolve as a human being; the alternative is to continue in your present state of mind, which may not be satisfactory or purposeful to your growth as a human being.

Many people never leave the box because they either never think to do so; don’t care enough to do so; don’t know how to do so, or leave but quickly return back to their comfort zone. Let’s provide an example: ever since you’re born, you have been surrounded by authority figures. These figures have included your parents, the educational system and the government of your respective nation. When in the world have you ever been alone and free?

It’s no wonder that every time you attempt to leave the box, you start to experience psychological discomfort and come running back telling yourself, “I have trust in our government, I have trust in the system, I have trust in the process.” As it has already been said, the box will always be full, but are you willing to leave square one and upgrade, perhaps even exponentially, to higher pyramidal levels?

Designing Your Reality

Spirit Over Mind

Certain people in society who are very successful (call them the ultra 1%) have everything going for them: generational wealth, power, success, political influence, geopolitical decision-making and even concealment of their identity from the masses. They have mastered the art of designing their reality by utilizing wealth and power through the disguise of liberal democracy. Their identity is hidden and that is exactly how they prefer their game of chess.

But one thing the masses have (and you should too) is spirit over mind. We are all taught about mind over matter, as if the mind is the final designer of our reality; but it is not if you tap into what God gave us all from inception: spirituality. You see, your mind is like a computer and like any computer, its memory can be improved, its processor can be sped up, its software can be recreated and last but not least, its defenses against viruses can be reinforced.

But how exactly does one reinforce its defenses against viruses of the mind? Through one’s spirit. Now, I cannot tell you how to utilize your spirit because no one truly knows it, except yourself and the only creator of this world, God. The important point to take away is that you have the power to design your reality through your spirit, which is greater than your mind; you just have to be aware of it and actually put it to use.

. . . give your mind wings by utilizing your spirit as guidance.

Create Wisely

Person holding paintbrush covered in paint

Your Environment Relies On Your Decision-Making

You have one computer and that’s all you get. There is no yearly updated version like a brand new Windows computer or MacBook with a new M1 chip. Your brain is all you have and if you don’t continuously upgrade it by challenging yourself, seeking new horizons and crossing new boundaries, then you will remain in your present reality that will eventually dull your existence.

Guess what happens when your existence is dulled? Mental health problems arise. In order to avoid such problems, you must constantly recreate your reality by keeping your decision-making in check. What do I mean by this? Well . . . if you continue to make the same decisions month after month, your reality will not change much; you will become a slave to your environment. Your decisions prescribe your reality; if they’re not carefully crafted, you will puff up with confusion, dismay and displeasure.

So how do you create wisely? No one can provide you with that answer. Life is based on trial and error. Start the trial, pile up the errors and constantly update your computer.

. . . I think I just told you how to create wisely.

51% Dreams

Close-up photography of arm with tattoo near body of water

It’s Not All About Hard Work

Everything starts within your imagination. Everything starts within your mind. Everything starts within your dreams. What’s the point of working hard if you don’t know why you’re working hard in the first place? What’s the point of endless hours of devotion if all that hard work is not aligned with your dreams? Do you even have dreams? If you’re stuck and don’t know where you’re headed, then start with your dreams. Once you figure them out, then the rest becomes history.

Whenever you become down in life and hopeless that your future is over, remind yourself of your dreams and allow them to fill you with power, motivation and inspiration. Every time you feel derailed off your path to success, use your dreams to get you back on track. You’ll encounter many moments of discouragement, disappointments and even failures, but it’s how you get yourself back up that matters the most. Use your dreams as an anchor to prevent you from falling too many times; to prevent you from drowning!

The formula is simple: 50% hard work + 51% dreams = 101% success.
