Thanking God For Our Blessings
For everyone who knows God knows that He is all loving and wants nothing but the best for us. But we have to remember from the bible that God informs us that He is not of this world; therefore, if our hearts are with God, our goal is to live for Him and not for what happens in this world. It is important to have goals and aspirations but to also remember that they are only earthly accomplishments at the end of the day.
Many of us get lost into our worldly affairs only to forget that our hearts really belong with the creator. But some of you may ask, “If God cares for us, then why did he allow COVID-19 to destroy so many peoples’ lives?” Again, God works in mysterious ways and we do not know why things happen the way that they do; we just have to trust the process if our love is truly with Him.
But you also have to remember that God gave Satan power to rule Earth. In the bible, Jesus is tested by God by having to spend 40 days and nights in the desert without food or water. During this treacherous journey, Satan makes an appearance and tries to tempt Jesus to put God to the test by turning rocks into bread.
Satan also brings Jesus to the highest point of a mountain and tells him, “Bow down and worship me and I will give you all the kingdoms of the world!” Jesus refuses to follow Satan and in return, Satan gives up and leaves Jesus. This is what we are going through on a daily basis, whether you believe in God or not; Satan is out here tempting us because if goodness exists, then so must evilness.
You have to understand that there are many questions that remain unanswered in this world. God did not create us in order to provide us with these answers; if he had, then we would have known them already. But that’s where Satan comes in; the prince of darkness who tricked Adam and Eve into eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge!
Satan is willing to offer you secret knowledge about Earth and the universe as well as provide you with riches, but only if you worship him; in other others, selling your soul to the devil! For Satan, he loses nothing by offering humans riches but gains everything by obtaining your soul; for obtaining your soul is Satan’s way of rebelling against God by stealing one of his children away from him.
So don’t let Satan kidnap you from our father. God wants us to defeat this test of life and return back to Him in heaven where we all came from. But because Adam and Eve failed to listen to God when He warned them not to eat from the tree of knowledge, sin was created and we now have to pay our dues in return. But in this long and challenging process called life, we have to continue having faith in God, accepting his Son Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, following the ten commandments and living as good human beings.
Let us thank God for our blessings on this Holy Thursday, “Thank you God that we are healthy, prosperous and still alive during these hard times. Please continue to bless us and everyone in need. Amen!”
Are you Ready? (This is Defeating Stigma Mindfully)

Yes, there is an evil in this world. Perhaps it was Satan whispering today that had my desire to drink pop up. It is so easy to forget that we really fight the unseen enemy. Not everything is visible. Not every temptation comes from a weak mind, giving in does though because it proves we went it alone and didn’t rely on God to pull us through. Thank you for this post.

Yeah Kate, but we also must not be too hard on ourselves, as God knows our weaknesses. As long as we strive to better ourselves, hiccups aren’t the end of the world.

Without darkness how could you see light?
I agree that the malice(which can be hidden in plain sight) in this world can be used to teach us if we don’t let it consume us and we can stay away from temptation. If you didn’t have opposition then you could never tell the difference between something like good and evil.

Right! If there is good then there is bad. Most of the time there’s always an opposite in life

I agree and there’s always a purpose for each opposite for the bigger picture.

Yes, unfortunately there’s a purpose for evilness, but we don’t live in that purpose.
